+The September 22 NJSLRA Meeting at the Morristown & Erie

The following pictures were taken during the September 22 meeting of the NJSLRA, which took place at the Morristown & Erie Railway's Whippany Station.  The meeting was held in conjunction with the September meeting of the New Jersey CTA, as well as the visit of the US Postal Service's Celebrate the Century Express to Whippany.

The meeting took place on the railcar Morris County, which can be seen parked to the left.  On the right is the Celebrate the Century Express display train. 

This shot shows the meeting taking place on the Morris County.  Association Vice President Jeff Sutch (standing) presided over the meeting, which included representatives from Norfolk Southern, CSX, the Morristown & Erie, New York & Greenwood Lake, Southern Railroad of NJ, SMS Rail Services, the East Jersey Railroad, and the Surface Transportation Board.

The October 20 NJSLRA Meeting at the Cape May Seashore Lines

On October 20, 2000 the members of the NJSLRA met at the Cape May Seashore Lines, where everyone went on a ride on the railroad, had a sumptuous lunch, and met for the regular meeting.  Thanks to Tony Macrie and his staff for hosting the event.
